This is the magical Wand of the Dark Faerie. Only creatures of evil may command the wand like Jhudora herself!  The WoDF is obtainable by completing Level 50 of Jhudora’s quests. Achieving Level 50 is no easy task, as it requires some high end r99’s.

  1. :

Godly. That`s all that can be said about the Wand of the Dark Faerie, really. Something the majority of us mere mortals can only dream about.

Seriously though, not only does the WoDF make you invincible given the situation rabid points out below, but you are pretty much just as untouchable if you`re running a pet with hit points disproportionately higher than your strength boost, with an at least equivalent defence boost, in your average league system, since turtling with one of these and Faerie Tabard/Ghostkershield can pretty much make it impossible for your opponent to hit you for more than the 25% max hp you`re healing. Not much a 200 booster can hope to do against a sub-400 hp pet running this, for example. Even Crisp Blue Tunic cannot hope to get around such a (cheap) strategy.

Granted, the fact that G-Shield wrecks this is problematic, but there`s a good chance that you`re getting damage in via the light reflection anyway, given how common Pirate Captains Cutlass & Wand of Reality are, and even hurts an opponent attempting to counter this with Ring of the Lost. Worst comes to worst, just run a species with an offensive ability that dodges the likely defences and you`re all set.

This is really as broken under the right circumstances as Everlasting Crystal Apple is, and the only reason current rules haven`t done anything about it is how ridiculously expensive this is. This takes a hit from an otherwise perfect 10 as a result.

    Power (4/4) Insane

Price (2/2) One of only about a dozen weapons that has any chance at all to even matter once you pass 6k hit points. At that point, the rest of the weapons are just useless junk.

Tactical (3/3) By using a defensive stance and morphing into a species without any vulnerabilities, you can cut the max damage per round you can take in 2p to 2160 points. Thus 10,800+ HP and one of these makes you actually invulnerable to everything in the BD aside from multifreezing, multistealing and 1p opponents with unique weapons. Heck, at only 5760 HP, you become *on average* invulnerable.

Another Angle (1/1) You’re playing a different game now.

    Defenses/Countermeasures: Don’t fight munterpoo.

Like the Illusens Staff, this is an absolutely awesome weapon. You can’t beat a 20% heal every time your HP hits the red, and the light reflection is great. This weapon’s only real drawback is the mass dark, as most 2-player battlers carry a full-dark-blocking Ghostkershield or Ring of the Lost nowadays. It’s also entirely blocked by sink. It loses one point for that and one point for the insane price tag. I prefer the I-staff, but this is still one of the best weapons in the game.

All I have to say is Good luck .

You won’t find one of these anywhere, but if you get a “Something has Happened: You find a wand of the dark faerie” , then you’re set. Sadly, this will never happen.

The attack is beyond great with tremendous dark, the healing is inexchangable for high-stat pets (not to mention this doesn’t take up your healing spot), and the light defense is effective considering the weapons you’ll be facing once you get this weapon (Seasonal Attack Pea and perhaps a Pirates Cutlass). It gets rated low obviously because it doesn’t matter which way you get it, it’s out-of-this-world expensive.
