Island Builders Crystal Negg Store
The Crystal Negg Store in Island Builders is the equivalent of Neocash, a premium virtual currency that can be obtained through real-money purchases in exchange for in-game items. Crystal Neggs serve the purpose of instantly finishing gathering and construction tasks, as well as expediting capsule timers on the island. The duration of the task directly correlates with the quantity of Crystal Neggs required to complete it.
Crystal Neggs can be acquired in limited quantities each day from the Crystal Negg Store, by successfully accomplishing Active Quests, completing level 3 Daily Quests, and sporadically from Login Rewards or as rewards from spinning the Wheel of Offers. However, beyond these methods, Crystal Neggs must be acquired through in-game purchases at the Crystal Negg Store. To access the default Store view, simply tap the Crystal Negg counter located at the top of the screen.
Building in Island Builders
Construction is the primary method for expanding your town and restoring Dacardia Island to its former glory. Initially, an on-screen tutorial will assist you in placing your first few buildings.
As you advance through the game’s quests, new buildings become accessible. When you acquire the blueprint for a new building, your first stop is the Crabulator, the large contraption by the shoreline. You can interact with it directly or use the small monitor beside it to access the Crabulator menu.
The Crabulator menu displays all the blueprints in the game, with those currently available to you highlighted and others appearing greyed out. Each blueprint can be used only once. For example, if you construct a Dacardian Home, you’ll need to obtain another blueprint to build another one.
To begin construction, you’ll require Building Materials, which are wooden crate items obtainable through quest completion or production in the Molten Mixer building.
Once you’ve collected enough Building Materials for a specific building, tap the spade icon in the Crabulator. This will enable you to choose the location for your new building within your town. Drag it to your desired position on the screen, then tap the green checkmark. Note that buildings can only be placed on clear ground; if there are obstructions, red squares will indicate the issue, and you’ll need to either relocate the building or clear the space beneath it.
Certain specific buildings have fixed positions and cannot be moved. The game will automatically transport you to the correct area when attempting to construct them.
After placing the building, you’ll need to utilize the Building Materials to initiate construction. Tap the circle to redeem the required materials, and once you’ve provided the correct amount, construction will commence.
All buildings have varying construction durations, with more intricate structures generally taking longer to complete. When the countdown timer reaches zero, the construction will finalize, and your new building will be ready for use.
Should you ever wish to relocate a building after it’s in place, you can either long-tap on the building and move it or tap the crab icon in the lower right of the screen. From there, you can select your desired building and move it to a new location.
