TNT has just revolutionized the NC Mall with the introduction of Neopets Dyeworks! Dyeworks simply put, allows you to create new colors to existing items so that you can more elegantly customize your Neopets.
Why add a touch of colour when you can use Hue Brew instead? This potion can be applied at Dyeworks to duplicate a specific NC item!
All you need is a Dyeworks Hue Brew Potion, which can be bought from the NC Mall, and the item that you’d like to change colors! After that visit Dyeworks in the NC Mall, choose the item you’d like to dye, and tada!
There does seem to be some misconception among the NC’ers, so I just wanted to clear this up. You need the ORIGINAL item before you can create a dye. After you dye a item, you get to KEEP the original item and you also get a dye’ed item. You also cannot dye a dye’ed item, only the original.

Users of the Neocash Board have already started creating boards, where you send them a dye potion and a gift box capsule, and in return they will dye an item they already have, and send you the dye item! What do they receive out of this? Well with the new GBC’s you get a minimum of two gift boxes, so they gain that in case you were wondering.
So what does this mean for us?
Basically you need to understand the whole Neocash/customization/trading metagame. TNT just figured out a way to implement another dimension into the neocash trading economy/metagame. The ability to change the appearance of a regular neocash item in oder to give a more pleasing/different/dynamic aesthetic. They just added so many different combinations to the already thousands of pre existing options. This is the perfect priming powder for neocash. Thousands will buy the dye and and different clothes to try it on. This will spark mass trading. Even if you don’t care about neocash customization that much you have to be positive about the income.
