In tandem with the launch of Pet Styles on January 23, 2024, Umbra offered Nostalgic Style items to Neopets that retained their Unconverted (UC) form at the time. These items, affectionately referred to as “tokens,” were granted to converted Neopets, enabling them to maintain their former appearance in additional colors.

Nostalgic Style items function as a conduit for preserving the authentic aesthetics of Unconverted Neopets post-conversion. They afford players the opportunity to imbue their converted pets with a nostalgic allure, fostering continuity and safeguarding the enduring charm of older Neopets.
