On January 23, 2024, Umbra introduced Pet Styles, revolutionizing Neopian customization by allowing players to personalize their Neopets’ appearance and poses. This innovation replaced Unconverted (UC) Neopets, automatically converting them. Accessing styles requires purchasing Styling Studio Supplies from the NC Mall or directly from the Styling Studio page, offering regular and deluxe options, with the latter ensuring specific colors.

To alter a pet’s style, one must navigate to the Styling Chamber, choosing the desired species and style. Regular supplies provide random colors, while deluxe supplies permit precise color selection. Species vary in available styles, with some always-available and others with limited options. The Styling Chamber facilitates style application, removal, or modification.

The inaugural release comprised 255 Neopet color combinations, featuring previously unreleased styles. Each style corresponds to an item, with plans for future expansions.
